| Mr. Holland has over thirty years of experience in all levels
of computer programming and engineering management. He spent five years
as Senior Consultant on the professional consulting staff of a big eight
accounting firm helping Fortune 500 companies integrate mainframe computers
and applications. After entering the MultiValue market, he served as Vice President
of a major Midwest Pick VAR for several years. He then moved to Pick Systems
and spent nine years as the head of R&D and Senior VP of Pick Systems
during their critical growth and development period. He was the senior
designer for Pick's porting efforts to micro-processor technology and a
major part of the OA design team. He also served on Pick's board of directors.
After Pick, Mr. Holland was a cofounder and CEO of Concurrent OS Technologies, a Pick licensee and porting house. There he managed and promoted the first successful version of the Pick 'Open Architecture' system. Concurrent was subsequently acquired by Sequoia Systems a major fault tolerant main-frame class hardware vendor where Mr. Holland spent five years as VP of Pick Development. During his tenure, his focus on software reliability reduced the database software contribution to system outages by more than twenty fold. Tim recently left Raining Data where as CTO he led the engineering efforts to merge the Pick, GA and Omnis products. Tim is also a well known speaker and currently serves as an independent consultant in the MultiValue community. His primary focus is helping end users get the most from their existing IT investments, with a strong emphasis on quality management systems. |
